Hi Jolly Parade 2009
in Quartzsite!


Newly appointed Mayor Walt Akin was Grand Marshall in Saturday's parade, the tossing of oranges to parade spectators was fun for everyone!


Perfect weather ensured that everyone could have fun without being chilly -- small children included!

Quartzsite Police Chief Jeff Gilbert waves from the department's ATV as the parade gets underway. The QPD is a great supporter of community events!
